Will this be an incident or life change event?
Due to Corona our society has come to a standstill. Corona has affected our economy and so our way of life. Daily habits have changed, we live within a closer range to our home. Our home and it's direct environment seem to be more essential than ever. We start to notice what's really essential to us and are forced to reinvent our lifestyle. Drawn out of our comfort zone and busy lives, this situation gives us the air to think about what we really value.
What do we see?
How can we use our observations to change the standards for a permanent situation?
What do we want to change in our daily urban system and what do we want to keep?
What collective values are worth fighting for?
Jerryt Krombeen and Rob Brink both graduated in 2016 from the Amsterdam Academy of Architecture in Amsterdam, and both have been working as urban designers for the department of urban planning for the City of Amsterdam.
